Our first National Day took place on 21st of July 1985 and we had 22 Ford Escort 1300E's in attendance. Over the years it has become the single most important event for us of the season. In 2008 & 2009 we had our National Day at Wicksteed Park, 2010's National Day was at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
National Day 2010 took place at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre on Sunday, 27th June, 2010. Several 1300E members turned out with their car's, and we had a private area at the Railway Centre. Members were able to take rides on both steam trains (which at one point raced each other), and visit the various museums and attractions of this lovely site. And the sun shone all day!
